"jacov's" story

from political insurgent to radical joy

Page summary

Many youth across the Muslim world suffer from disillusionment and hopelessness. They see no prospects for opportunity in their home country. Oftentimes they are drawn to political activism and extremism. But even the most radical are not beyond God’s powerful and saving hand – or His unconditional love. People like “Jacov.”

“Jacov” grew up as a Sunni Muslim, and he practiced Islam faithfully. As a young boy, he believed he was a good Muslim. But then he and some friends became involved in a political conflict that ended with his friend getting arrested and “Jacov” fleeing across the border illegally.

Now grown up, he rejected Islam and did not want anything to do with God. In fact, when some Christians gave him a Bible, he decided to read it just to expose its lies to them!

What will “Jacov” find as he reads the Bible? How will he respond to those Christians?
