Saudi Arabia is the birthplace and epicenter of Islam. Christianity has not spread there easily. But God can do the impossible. As we pray for Muslims, remember that they are real people with real struggles – that God loved them enough to die for them. Like Ahmed.

 

Ahmed grew up as a Sunni Muslim. He tried his hardest to be a good Muslim, but when that did not satisfy him, he pursued Sufism.

 

Even though Ahmed dedicated himself to Sufi practices, they still did not give him the peace and assurance he was looking for. Something was still missing.

 

Disappointed and frustrated, Ahmed turned to drugs and other poor choices. People did not want to be around him. Soon, only his mother and wife remained.

 

How would Ahmed get out of this miserable spiral? Would he ever find the answers he was looking for? What could give a man like Ahmed the freedom he so strongly desired?
